Some Fourth of July celebrations are over and done too fast – especially when the holiday falls in the middle of the week. Ours is different. We’re going big with 5 huge days of Americana – including pool parties, cookouts, live music, food trucks and a cornhole tournament, all leading up to our grand fireworks show on Tuesday night.
2. Chocolate and Bourbon Tasting Trains
Circle the last weekend of July on your calendar for the Chocolate Tasting Train and Bourbon Tasting Train on the French Lick Scenic Railway. Both are 21-and-over experiences and perfect for a unique date afternoon.

There’s a whole lot of nature to explore and enjoy throughout our 3,200 scenic acres.
Seriously, does it get better than this? Find a rocking chair in the shade, grab a cocktail and rock to the beat of ragtime music from the Pluto Tappers. The simplest pleasures are often the best.
5. Circus Day
Our friends at the French
Lick West Baden Museum (right across the highway from French Lick Springs
Hotel) have this annual summer favorite set for Saturday, June 24. Circus performers,
food trucks, balloon artist and much more.
It’s the perfect special surprise, whether it’s just the two of you or the entire family. Pair it with a weekend dinner at Sinclair’s Restaurant to take the fancy factor up a notch.
